About Us

My name is Angie & I am the owner of Opal Butterfly Creations.  I have a wonderful husband, Josh, who I have been with since high school.  I also have 2 fun-loving & hilarious kiddos, Lucas & Harper.  When COVID-19 closed down businesses in March 2020, I quit my job of 13 years to stay home with the kids.  That's when I started crafting at home with my Cricut & I realized just how much I LOVED it!

My business name, Opal Butterfly Creations, honors the most amazing woman I have ever known...my mom, Tina.  She passed away in 2008 from metastatic breast cancer & there's not a day that goes by that I don't think of her.  Opal comes from her birthstone (October), and I chose Butterfly because whenever I see a butterfly, it makes me think she is near.
